Onboarding - Step 1 - Introduction and activating the Post-purchase page functionality

Step 1 aims to set up the first funnel that will be displayed on the Post-purchase page once an order has been placed and payment details have been entered. The idea of creating a funnel is an additional plus for both the user and the merchant. From the user's point of view, he has the opportunity to add a product that would be a good additional benefit for him. We all know that it takes a long time for all the products in a store to be viewed, and it often happens that after finalizing an order, we come across a product we want but see late, which necessitates a second order. With the help of the funnel, this can more or less be avoided. At the same time, the plus for the merchant is that the user has the possibility to add an additional product or products to their order. This, in turn, would lead to an increase in the average order value in the store. The result is a closed circle that helps both more consumption by the consumer and more sales for the merchant. It is also important to note that the option to add a discount on the product in question is also a plus for both parties.

Since every app in Shopify requires selecting the app in Settings, Step 1 allows the Fuze app to be selected from Settings for the Post-purchase page to be available in a few quick steps. The banner shows the current state of the app. By default, it is not enabled, as the decision for this functionality depends on the merchant. The Check now button has been added to check if the app is currently activated for convenience. All you need to do it to activate Fuze from your checkout settings following the steps:
Click the Instructions button.
When the modal opens (it also contains a quick overview of the actions needed to enable the app), click the Open Checkout settings.
When the Checkout and accounts page loads in a separate browser tab, navigate to the Post-purchase page section.
Select the Fuze Post Purchase Upsell app, save the changes and close the tab.
Click the Check now/Verify Installation button et voilà! The Fuze app is activated and ready to help you increase your revenue.

An important note here is that if the app is not enabled from Settings, the functionality of the app will not be active.
In case you skipped activating the app on Step 1, you could update the app's state on the Post-purchase funnels tab content following the same steps.

Let's take a closer look at the details of the functionalities of the app in terms of their value to the merchant and the end user.
