Fuze Post Purchase Upsell | Onboarding - Step 2 - Create a Survey

Surveys play a critical role in creating effective funnels for online businesses. In Step 2 of the Onboarding process, merchants have the opportunity to add surveys to the funnel created in Step 1, allowing them to gather valuable feedback from their customers. The survey feature offers various question types, including single-choice, multiple-choice, open-ended, and others.

By selecting the question type, merchants can manually create and customize the questions and corresponding answers. This flexibility enables them to tailor the survey questions to their specific needs, ensuring they obtain the desired information from their customers.

The Preview section provides information about the survey. It will be blank until a question (and answers) are provided. This feature is invaluable in ensuring that the questions and answers are accurately set up and will produce the intended results. Merchants can save time and reduce errors by utilizing this feature during the survey creation process.

Let's explore the Survey step in more detail. In the Select Template Survey section, merchants can choose from a range of ready-made templates to add to their funnel. These templates can be further edited to meet specific requirements.

In the Type of question section, merchants can select the question and answer type from options such as Single, Multiple, Open-ended, and Other. Each type offers unique functionalities:

Single: Customers can select only one answer.
Multiple: Customers can select multiple answers.
Open-ended: Customers can provide a text-based answer.
Other: This type combines the functionalities of Single and Open-ended, allowing customers to select a single answer or provide their answer in text form.

After selecting the question type, the Question's title section enables merchants to manually input the question and the available answer choices.

If a survey is not desired for the Post-purchase funnel, this step can be skipped. However, merchants can always go back to the Post-purchase funnels tab and add the survey step later if they change their mind.

Wrap-up:

Step 2 (Surveys) is a crucial component in creating a successful funnel for any merchant. The ability to add surveys, customize questions, and leverage the real-time preview ensures that merchants receive accurate and valuable feedback from their customers.
